Booklet

Impose pages as a foldable booklet.

To lay pages out as a foldable booklet:

  1. Open Booklet from the tools list.
  2. Drop your PDF — the editor opens on the Changes tab with Page layout already turned on, "Booklet" selected.
  3. Choose Paper size (A4 or US Letter) and Fold along (Left edge (like a book) or Top edge (like a calendar)).
  4. Click Export.

What you'll see when it's done: a line above the layout reads e.g. "Arranges the pages as a booklet, 4 to a side — 12 pages become 3 sheets, printed on both sides, with 4 blank pages added at the end." (the blank-pages part only shows when padding was needed), and the canvas shows the folded, double-sided layout. With nothing else turned on, Export reads Make booklet & download (& save on desktop).
