Barcode
Generates a 1D barcode from a value you type.
To make a barcode:
- Open QR code & barcode, then select the Barcode tab.
- Choose a Format: CODE128, EAN13, UPC, or CODE39.
- Type the Value.
- Select Download PNG to save the image, or Edit image to send it to the image editor.
What you'll see when it's done: the barcode image in your browser's downloads, or the image workspace open with it loaded.
If something goes wrong
A value that doesn't fit the chosen format shows "<value>" is not a valid <format> value. — try a different value or format (for example, EAN13 needs a specific number of digits with a valid check digit).
| Format | What it's typically used for |
|---|---|
| CODE128 | General-purpose — letters, numbers and punctuation |
| EAN13 | Retail product barcodes (13 digits) |
| UPC | Retail product barcodes (North America) |
| CODE39 | Letters and numbers, widely supported by older scanners |
